Our mid-day dog walking visits can be used for either a walk in your neighborhood or potty & play time in their own backyard. Many of our happy clients use this service for day trips or when they work long hours. Below are some guidelines for scheduling.

 

> Puppies (under 1 year): Daily mid-day potty visits help establish and maintain a housebreaking schedule. Proper housebreaking requires a consistent schedule of potty breaks for your puppy. Puppies that are not yet leash trained can be supervised in your secure yard. Crate trained puppies need to be taken out every 3-4 hours for proper training and socialization.

 

> Adult Dogs: Adult dogs need regular exercise to maintain good physical and mental health. Owners who work long hours can count on us to walk their dogs or let them play in their safe yard during the day. Lunchtime is the perfect time for us to stop by for exercise and a potty break. This is especially true for crated dogs. They'll be better socialized and less hyperactive when you get home.

 

> Older Dogs: An older dog often needs more frequent potty breaks than when they were younger. When older dogs have accidents, they are often stressed because they have been trained to go outside, but cannot hold it any longer. Daily walks give your senior dog a much-needed potty break and exercise. If your sweet senior dog is having accidents, consider scheduling an extra visit during the day.
